We provide a colocation solution that is uniquely aligned to clients’ business needs and desired outcomes. As such, we specialise in bespoke solutions and embrace complexity. We originated in the service provider world as the sister company of a high-end managed service provider — and that service-focused DNA remains at the core of what we do.

In some cases, this might mean working as an extension to a client’s IT team and supporting them in their development journey; in others it might simply be a case of arranging access to the data centre for clients, as and when required, and leaving the rest up to them.

We recognise that for enterprises in particular, moving data centres is rarely something to look forward to, but we have developed a service strategy that transforms such migrations into a positive experience. This, combined with the engineering quality and efficiency of our facilities has resulted in a highly satisfied and referenceable client base of both service providers and enterprises. Working with our partners we have developed a full range of services to support the colocation journey from initiation and transition to installation to expansion.

It is easy to turn first to the default scale colocation providers when looking to outsource (and paying the premium they demand) but we don’t believe that provides real client value. Since launching our flagship data centre on the highly secure Cody Technology Park in Farnborough, we have been joined by other data centre providers creating a regionalised cluster that is growing to rival traditional UK data centre clusters and has already attracted most of the major carriers and cloud connectivity providers. Located off the M3, just outside the M25 and within easy train access of London, it is no wonder that we are seeing enterprises investigate viable options away from the densely populated and pricey historical colocation clusters. Our Manchester site, acquired through our acquisition of leading Manchester colocation provider Teledata in 2022, has given us a presence in the two most economically active regions of the UK.

  • A truly bespoke service offering

    Our service offering is wholly tailored to client requirements. We work closely with our clients to deliver a colocation solution that is uniquely aligned to their business needs and desired outcomes. We are equally happy working as an extension to a client’s IT team and supporting them in their development journey or simply arranging access to the data centre for clients, as and when required, and leaving the rest up to them.

  • A dedicated engineering team

    We offer 24/7 emergency response to minimise disruption to business activities in case of issues, as well as scheduled engineering services such as ‘remote hands’, connectivity and cable installation, patching, re-racking and relocating, power cycling, etc. Crucially, our engineering team is client-facing and fully dedicated to engineering services rather than involving itself in other elements of facility management. As such, our engineers are 100% focused on resolving client issues. They are always on site and can be called on to assist with maintenance or business-critical work when client personnel are unavailable.

  • Proactive and insightful service reporting

    Our facilities are monitored and managed using an advanced building management system integrated with a sophisticated DCIM (Data Centre Infrastructure Management) system. Depending on their chosen colocation solution, clients have the option of receiving detailed and proactive reporting and regular service reviews for total visibility into the performance of our data centre and the security of their IT estate.

    Where applicable, clients can choose to receive either monthly or quarterly service reviews for full transparency regarding service performance. Clients can request for these reviews to include a review of pre-planned maintenance schedules, data regarding all open and closed tickets raised during the service period (to allow clients to keep abreast of any ongoing issues) and a log of the individuals from the client organisation who have accessed the data centre during the service period (offering peace of mind that only authorised staff members are accessing business-critical IT). Data covering power, humidity, temperature and PUE is readily available to clients in their service review documents and meetings, and on the client portal. Detailed reporting includes BMS data for transparency and advanced DCIM to centralise monitoring and management.

  • Bespoke account management

    Our service-based approach depends on maintaining strong working relationships with our clients which, in turn, requires excellent account management. To maintain separation between service and commercial considerations, and to ensure that our clients always know who to turn to should services issues arise, all clients are allocated both a dedicated account manager and service manager.
