  • Executive Support / General Office Support — Manchester

    Role and responsibilities

    Location: Regional Manchester office (MCR1).

    Contract: Permanent / Part Time.

    Salary: £25,000-£30,000 (pro rata) + Performance related bonus.

    Reporting to the Chief Operations Officer, the successful applicant will perform a variety of administrative tasks and support our company’s senior-level managers. The role involves contributing to the efficiency of our business by providing professional and timely support, while being passionate about delivering a great workplace experience for our directors and wider team, in a way that meets the needs of the company and is aligned with our culture and values.

    • Create an exceptional workplace experience.
    • Act as a professional point of contact among directors, managers and all team members.
    • Manage information flow in a timely and accurate manner.
    • Provide support for HR-related admin tasks, including on-boarding and off-boarding.
    • Maintain and update HR records and HR support system.
    • Provide monthly payroll and overtime reports.
    • Support with the planning and execution of company events and any offsite activities.
    • Setup, coordinate and prepare agendas for meetings.
    • Take minutes during meetings.
    • Screen and direct phone calls and distribute correspondence.
    • Organise and maintain office related supplies and operations.
    • Support ad hoc projects related to compliance, facilities management, or office moves.

    The ideal candidate

    This role would suit someone who cares about the people they support, along with a strong passion for enhancing the overall workplace experience.

    The ideal candidate should have previous experience working in an Executive Assistant and Office Management or related position and possess the following skills:

    • Resourceful, dependable, and trustworthy.
    • Maintains confidentiality with all entrusted information.
    • Strong organisational and planning skills.
    • Excellent time management.
    • An enthusiastic communication style, both verbal and written; you will need to be able to communicate well at all levels.
    • Proficient IT skills and proficiency in MS Suite, particularly Word and Excel.
    • The ability to work on own initiative and prioritise tasks.

  • Sales Support and Client Service Manager - Manchester

    Job role

    An exciting opportunity has arisen for a focused, motivated, and enthusiastic team player to join our sales team. This exciting new role will be based at our MCR1 site in Manchester. The successful candidate will join a well-established team and full training and support will be provided.

    The role is well suited to an individual looking to advance their career in sales and gain hands-on experience in a thriving, supportive and dynamic client-centric workplace.

    Position reports to: Group Head of Sales

    Location: Regional Manchester Office, MCR1

    Contract: Permanent / Full Time

    Salary: £25,000 – £30,000+ performance related bonus.

    Main responsibilities

    • Supporting the Manchester sales process end to end.
    • Raising, managing and processing client orders, upsells, POs and contracts in our CRM, working alongside the sales and technical teams to ensure successful delivery and handover of services against agreed timescales.
    • Processing and managing service orders with third parties.
    • Liaising with our finance team in a timely manner to notify any changes to upcoming billing and assisting with any billing queries from clients.
    • Managing contract start dates and communications with clients.
    • Assisting the service management team with contract administration.
    • Dealing with client queries – accounts, billing, documentation, supplier questionnaires, etc.
    • Supporting the creation of service review documentation and presentations alongside the service management team.
    • Working with the operations team to proactively drive the process for sending client communications in a professional and timely manner, including maintenance notifications (PPMs) and general site information.
    • Support the group head of the sales and service management team with ad-hoc projects, as appropriate.

    Requirements

    Key to this role is the personality, confidence, and drive to take ownership of key record keeping in the CRM system on an ongoing basis. This role is client-facing, so applicants should be personable and friendly (comfortable with communicating with a varied client base), and highly organised with excellent written and verbal communication skills.

    • Well-motivated, resilient, and tenacious individual with an eye for detail, while managing a varied and busy workload.
    • Accuracy and meticulousness in performing assigned tasks is essential.
    • Team player and relationship builder both internal and external.
    • Commercially astute – able to relate to mid-level IT and business functions.
    • Capability to work independently and as part of a small team.
    • Proven experience in delivering high-quality client-centric service.
    • Good understanding and experience of working with a CRM / business management system.
    • The role requires an advocate for both the client and the internal business, representing each at appropriate times to drive stakeholders to reach the common goal.
    • Excellent IT skills and proficiency in MS Suite, particularly Word and Excel.
    • Very keen to learn and develop their career, with the ability to develop a good understanding of the colocation and IT space, and its features and benefits.

    Advantageous skills

    • Previous sales support / admin support experience.
    • Experience in IT, data centres, or service management.
    • Basic understanding of data centre functions and processes.
