Our premium network services

Carrier neutral network services providing resilient links at any bandwidth across the world.

The ultimate in resilience, performance and choice

Our carrier neutral approach to connectivity has seen over 25 network providers choose to invest in building out primary Points of Presence (PoPs) at Datum facilities. The resultant range of diverse, dedicated fibre routes into each of our data centre locations ensures resilient, unlimited bandwidth and maximum capacity for our clients – whether that’s out to the internet or direct to other data centres, office locations or key connectivity sites.

Premium IP transit

When you host your equipment at a Datum facility, you have the freedom to take your pick and contract directly with our competitive market community of on-net providers – that’s the flexibility of a carrier-neutral facility.

You also have the option of our premium IP transit product – highly resilient, high-performance connectivity with enterprise level SLAs.

We build in the resilience so that you don’t need to

Benefit from a resilient architecture featuring multiple switches and routers designed to remove single points of failure from our physical network, while a multi-homed blend of Tier 1 providers on separate external fibre routes ensures that we can continue to supply your operation with IP transit in the event of upstream provider outages.

Peering

Datum’s Manchester facility – MCR1 – is a LINX Manchester primary Point of Presence (PoP) for its regional peering exchange. LINX Manchester enables network operators to peer directly with other leading network operators and content providers to increase resilience, maximise available routes and improve performance and latency.

Clients hosted at our London/south east and Manchester data centres can connect directly into the LINX Manchester PoP, while both sites can also connect to LINX’s primary London PoPs via Point-to-Point private circuits.
