New services make Datum the one-stop-shop for co-lo

We’re delighted to announce the launch of new services that are closely related to our colo offering, making sure that you can get maximum benefit from your relationship with us.

The new services are led by Datum Concierge Plus, which builds on the Datum Concierge offering with a fully managed service that supports you throughout the transition and migration towards colocation. In the early stages of your transition, we can audit your existing assets for you and develop a fully formed plan that covers all key stakeholders and activities. In the execution phase, our dedicated technical project manager and support team will oversee your deployment and support the transition, no matter what time of day or night. Then when you’re fully up and running, we’ll provide all ongoing support you need, including comprehensive reports that feed into your regular service review meetings. On top of Datum Concierge Plus we’re also launching Datum Break-Fix Services. These provide you with multi-vendor break-fix support for equipment installed in the data centre, including a blended support option for both ‘in and out of warranty’ support. This is designed for a complete product lifecycle service.

Next, we’re introducing Datum Workplace Recovery, which does exactly what it says. It helps you bolster your business continuity plan through the provision of office recovery locations throughout the UK. So if your offices are ever unavailable, you’ve always got somewhere to go!

Last, but certainly not least, we’re now offering a new range of Connectivity Services that will enable you to connect between other data centres, your sites, and to the internet and cloud platforms. Amongst other things this will include a dedicated fibre network that links core sites around the UK, plus a wide range of resilient links at any bandwidth across the UK and to Europe and the USA.
