FARNBOROUGH – 9 May 2017 – Datum Datacentres, the Farnborough based provider of ultra secure, high resilience colocation data centres, today announced that it has achieved ISO 14001:2015 for Environmental Management for the provision of data centre space and supporting services.

ISO 14001:2015 builds on Datum’s existing ISO accreditations; 27001:2013 (information security), 50001 (energy) and 9001 (quality). These certificates along with PCI DSS compliance, EU Code of Conduct for Data Centres and DCA certification as a Class 3 fully operational data centre demonstrate Datum’s commitment and ability to deliver an extremely secure and efficient environment for its clients’ critical IT infrastructures.

Commenting on gaining ISO 14001, Dominic Phillips, Managing Director, says: “Datum clients rely on our efficient, effective and secure data centre service to support their business critical IT. ISO accreditations provide assurance to company management and employees as well as external stakeholders that we deliver on our promises, in this case that our environmental impact is being measured and improved as part of the way that we do business. Providing outstanding client service is a vital part of the Datum offering and we are delighted to be able to offer clients this range of accreditations to enable them to demonstrate to their board, their clients and other stakeholders that their critical IT infrastructure is colocated in an ultra-secure, energy efficient and thoughtfully managed data centre.
